Shetland situated at the junction between the North Sea and North Atlantic offers an ideal location with its crystal-clear waters, rough climate and untouched natural surroundings for the rearing of high quality farmed Salmon. Salmon are harvested using our own Well Boats and transported as soon as possible alive to Lerwick, where having been pumped into our modern indoor Harvesting/Killing Station recently completed in 1999 and attached to the factory, equipped with the latest Flow Iced Chill and Bleed tanks, salmon are slaughtered and bled ready for processing in the shortest possible time before rigor mortice develops, to maintain our unique freshest possible end products. |
